Khaya Nunu
Khaya aka “Kayz” Nunu was born in the Township of Mdantsane which was then under the so called “Ciskei” Homeland, currently known as the Eastern Cape, South Africa. He was born and raised in an Elders family of two, him and his sister, Pumza. His family is a very musical family; his mother is the church choir conductor, which gave him the interest in playing the keyboards. He now plays for his church when ever he is there.
Kayz started singing at a very tender age while he was still doing his lower grades at school with his friends in church. He was later sent to one of the Seventh Day Adventist church boarding schools (Cancele High) where his talent for singing was groomed, and later was part of the members who founded the quartet.
Khaya in his spare time enjoys playing tennis, scrabble, jenga (if you don’t know this game contact him) with his friends.
Khaya loves the Lord so much that he is also involved in his local church; he is the Ambassador’s Leader, a department that was just launched for the young people.
